Yeah, I saw that, Courtney. That's really cool. By the way, went to the website you posted; in case you were wondering, to an ordinary guy like me, that homepage was really confusing. In other words, I didn't know where to go to see the pictures and times and such. Perhaps you could help me with that, that'd be good.
Also, it has been quite a while. Well, to bring you up to speed;
1. I've succeeded alienating myself from the Young Women, who annoy me so badly they remind me of my younger sisters (and the YW are my age).
2. The Youngs and the Martinez's both live here, and we all go to the same ward; it's pretty fun. Armani's grown up a bit since she's been here; she's been fun to talk to. The most ironic part is that Nick hates her now.
3. My Eagle Project has been in the works for over two months and is ready to roll November the 21st, two weeks from now.
4.I look exactly the same.
5. I am the same height as when I left Sierra Vista (6'1)
6. Me and Nick are both in Choir now (me a Bass, Nick a tenor)
7. Nick just did a 20-mile hike and it barely affected him; I mention this because it was pretty dang awesome.
8. Nick also got a 4.0 first quarter (he's a freshman, technically a skipped-a-grade sophomore, and he's taking Chemistry, chemistry, of all things, and still has a 4.0; that's pretty beast in my opinion.
9. I also am taking Chemistry, and I got a B; sigh...
10. Nick's thinned down from 295 to 255 lbs. and has put on a lot of muscle; he's pretty bulky.
11. Nick still goes by the title O'beast.
12. I'm in Drama I, and my skit group is having me dress up as a fairy, which you can well imagine (you know, tutu, tiara, pink pink pink, wand, Spandex, the works)
13. I'm still as lost as ever. Sorry about that bit of sad news.
14. My permit expired two weeks ago, and the reason I don't have my driver's license is because (quite simply) I'm too afraid of the accountability, the heaviness of the responbility that comes with driving a car (I'll expound later)
15. I go to Seminary for the blessings, not for the knowledge because it's early morning and I am NOT a morning person.
16. Courtney, you need to get a Facebook.
17. Me and Nick are planning to walk with twenty-some odd pound packs while we walk five miles on the week days, 20 miles on Saturdays, and rest on Sundays.
18. I've been ordained to priest, of which there are five when there used to be zero.
19. I spend an inordinate amount of time on Facebook (well, inordinate in my opinion).
20. I've become really interested in photography.
21. I'm still as close to finishing one of my stories as I was six years ago, when I started typing.
22. Mrs. Bridges from Smith Middle School is still the worst teacher I've ever had.
23.No offense, but Brandon Whitney's blog makes me uncomfortable; again, nothing on him, it's just that it's a tad... well, personal. A lot.
24. I'm still a huge fan of Star Wars, LOTR, and High School Musical as well as still being an avid loather of the Twilight series and Stephanie Meyer's as a person.
25. All right, that's true, that may be too strong of a word; I'm a steadfast disliker of the Twilight series and Stephanie Meyer's as a person.
26. Can't wait to see Gentleman Broncos.
27. I still have never seen the Jackson Memorial to this day (I was at EFY Bowling Green at the time)
28. I still read too much.
29. I use a broad vocabulary that drives Nick insane (I really don't mean to, it's just the way I talk)
30. I'm very pompous, I've realized, and for me, that stirs me deeply; I always thought of myself as the dangerous one, not the gentleman. Then again, why not be both?
31. I still haven't gone on a date yet ('cause every girl I've asked has either fainted or screamed and ran away, but that's top secret...)
32. I know it's obnoxious, but I think I've really become, well, at least moderately handsome since I started junior year, here's the proof;
33. True story; I was at the library helping my mom run errands and two girls (one I know from Drama -super peppy, almost verging on insane- and the other I've spoken to once were there, and -when my back was turned; then again, I didn't know they were behind me at the time, anyway- they started wolf whistling, and after they went down the stairs my mom busted out laughing and I just smiled. What can I do?
34. I've recently learned that I can't even dance at church dances properly (Annalee -girl from my ward; I swear, she's like my long lost sister or something, and no, that doesn't mean we get along well- always corrects me, hitting me in the arm when we slow dance because my positioning isn't right and I don't twirl her properly.
35. Yes, I am that bad.
36. I'm still an asthmatic.
37. My dad finally got his master's degree in music, and me and Nick are nearly done with our Eagle projects, so we hope to move to- well, just about anywhere but here. We're dead tired of it, my entire family, tired tired tired of this place.
38. One of my friends Matt Fuller stole my crush here away from me, because, well- as usual- I was being a idiot. Moving on, I guess.
39. I've realized that most girls are starved for affection and they'll do just about anything for you if you show them even the most minute gesture of kindness; plus, they'll never leave you alone (needless to say, I avoid women like this at all costs).
40. Armani said 'hi' the other day and said it was from you; she also said a lot of other things, but we won't get into that... well...
41. Armani said that you liked me, which of course, as we all know, is probably the most argued fact in the history of our relationship with each other; because everybody knows that I already admitted it. That, and I have an annoying, selfish need to sate my own ego, no matter how badly it hurts others.
42. Yeah, I'm pretty terrible; but then again, what else is new? :D
43. Me and Nick have not (ever since that first day of football practice) been involved in organized sports of any kind, nor do we want to. Well; maybe I do, but I know for sure that Nick doesn't, and the next person to ask him if he plays football or not will probably get their head knocked off.
44. I haven't lost my temper once at church (basically, in public) since being here.
45. Nick has lost his temper twice, both at church (the first one was Matt, who he pushed firmly, sending Matt backwards a good five feet) ((the second one was this dork named Ty, and Nick slammed him up against the wall; unfortunately, he ended up really smashing Ty into our good friend Alex, who hadn't had time to get out of the way))
46. Nick's sworn enemy here, Patrick Taylor, is a football star, 4.0 GPA student, and extremely competitive; but he's also a cheater and treats women as if they were worthless, including his mother, our seminary teacher. Ironically enough, even after all the verbal abuse and physical abuse Patrick has inflicted upon Nick, Nick has never hurt him.
47. Needless to say, that makes me angry; Patrick's a dork, and Nick has two choices; either to forget his pride or beat Patrick senseless. Patrick (for those of you who don't know him) deserves the latter; from a whole bunch of people.
48. This post is looooooong. My bad, guys.
49. All right, well, it's late, and I'm tired. Hope you guys have fun reading this for two hours (or for twenty seconds, I don't know how fast you guys can read); anyway.
50. Bye!
