I have never heard of someone in real life breaking down that cliched way they do in all of the movies and television shows. Never one have I heard of or seen some guy, girl, kid, whatever the hell you want to call the person grab the crap on their walls and start throwing it around. Shattering all their memories in a fit of hysteria. Burning pictures still their hands are covered in that melted waxy shit that photographs are made of.
No matter what happens people will not behave like their some sort of fucking animals. It's been bred into us so we don't People just can't. Every once in a while people get in fights but never do they truly lash out against them selves in such a way that it is portrayed constantly.
Honestly why do they show it like that? They should be subtle about it. A slow and carefuly done self sabatoge that even the veiwers can't see coming till it is all but consumed the hero.
Maybe they have to show it like that. So the veiwers can say "Hell Yeah, I'd do that" just so in the end we feel better about our fuck-ups. So in the end we can just say that we did "everything possiable" to avert this disaster that is now rearing its ugly heads into our lives even though in stead of lashing out and letting that emotion pop out just for a moment in a way that is healthy we did the thing that probally was our worse choice. We bottled it up. We let it build until it is just out of control.
